melodic rhythm are but a sequence of notes,
it is the dynamics, that we get music
living is mere existence,
it is what we experience and do everyday,
that we get LIFE.
its raining outside now.
i m curdled in the corner of my room by the window as usual with my cushions.
the lightning just lighted the whole sky.
anw, yesterday night was helping mum with all the children's day gifts for her babies and small kids. and i prepared something for gwenda too. gave it to her earlier just now, hope she likes it.
it isn't exactly a good day today, Irina is like horribly strict and my brain was totally saturated after lesson. and sometime in the noon, there's this sudden dizzy spell so i went to take a nap.the waking up part is always the worst, makes you feel like puking and all groggy.
well, here's a video from youtube again. 2 good and popular korean singer. YOUNHA and WHEESUNG. 2 of my favourite songs. It's ok even if it hurts & Comet. Enjoy the songs and the rainy night~
oookay!
past 3 days of work was super tiring and taxing on the legs.
but YES, in addition to the pay, we got to catch the whole grand prix. YAY.
so now i finally think that the constipated manager in charge of our area isn't so loathsome anymore after he smuggled us into one of those shuttles for the VIPs and took us to the circuit park.
yeah, the shuttle arrived at the paddock club but where we were obviously not allowed in so once we came off the shuttle, we scrambled off. heh.
well, the first spot we came to didn't have a good view of the track cause its like just a straight route but the second spot was pretty great. had a double bend kind of thing. charlotte is damn smart to ask one of the helper, guy obviously, for a chair to stand on cause she can't see a single thing at all. lol. that's something nice when you are small and cute, you can just smile your way through many things. haha.
and that's where we stood for the remaining time of the race.
its on the last day did i realise that kelly services gave us each a ear plug but i didn't have one so i obviously didn't bring and gosh, the sound is horribly deafening. but alright, my ears can still take it with a lil help from my hands=)
mid-way through the race, it started getting a lil boring but its still cool in any way. the race is like so unexpected and i guess that's the interesting part of it. its pretty sad for both massa and raikkonen. esp for raikkonen, he had to crash at the last 4 laps?! aw. and hamilton..after all the hoo haa he got, his performance wasn't exactly stunning.quite disappointing. BUT!Alonso!! omg, he deserves the champion like totally. after the crash he had the day before. salutes to alonso!
anw, back to the job. jessy if you are reading this, i am so gonna tell you i am so jealous of where you are stationed at! you got to see like so many celebs!!! like ryu si won! and many others. bleah, even tho our area serves VIPs as well, the biggest that graced here was like dick lee, eunice olsen etc. anw when the 5 of us meet up we shall talk about it ya! soon soon=D
alrighty till i get some photos and stuff, night!
gosh, the whole thing ended so goddamn good.
we watched the whole grand prix-61laps. effing awesome.
like 3 days worth of work is suddenly worth it.
even though my legs are breaking now and the sole of my feet hurts mega painfully.
alright i m so totally beat, so i will just say, i am sooo gonna go into dreamland later with all the " VROOOM VROOOOM " sound repeating in my head. gee.
i will totally update tmr with a long longggg post.
*kisses goodnight to F1*
alright,so we sort of rotated our duties today. and i so so prefer what we were doing yesterday. like the duty and the place we are stationed. but overall its okay.
but nearing the end of duty, i had to meet this girl who so freaking pisses me off.
okay, its not my business if you have to complain to the in-charge about other ppl not doing their job or trying to portray yourself as the oh-so-hardworking but please don't come messing with me. “your not doing ah" in that sarcastic i am working but you are not kind of tone irks me. i m so sorry i had give you that face and point out the fact that you guys are already doing the one man show. and yes, so glad you decided to move out of our sight. and i realised she isn't well liked anyway. so me and charlotte are not the only ones.
oh oh, charlotte, this awesome petite girl from TP. we clicked right away! we had like so many things in common. its really fun to chat and hang out.gee. that girls' sch thing.hah.
hopefully tmr's gonna be fun, will be going to watch the race! woohoo. excited excited.
but.. all these can't stop the issue from weighing me down. i am so sorry, i don't know how to handle this just yet. give me tonight to clear my thoughts. things will be fine. it will.
First day of the F1 race. oh wells, not even a peek at the circuit or the cars.
we were stationed at the national stadium serving the VIPs. that is if you count putting tags on their wrist and punching holes in their ticket serving. lol.
and, yes made news friends from everywhere, tp, sp, and even like oxford university?! oxford. like woah. how brainy.hah.
anw, its an easy job i would say. and secretly i will tell you, there's too much manpower. sshhhh.
and, sigh. some thing's not right. stop me- please.
had a fun afternoon riding the bike in sentosa.
well, really did nothing much. just riding for around 2 hours, fooling around and stopping occasionally for ben and jerry's, drinks and to rest(:
photos photos!
me!
us resting in the pavilion=D
irritating ants irritating them. lol
bbt!!(:
resting at ben and jerry's
jiejie and the peacock.she's afraid the peacock might bite.haha.
sentosa's icon?! shrugs.
pretty view there
brendy!! cheese.
and finally, its Singapore Formula One Grand Prix tomorrow! looking forward? well, not exactly. cause my post wouldn't be near the track! how sad is that.and i dun like our uniform compared to other posts. like brenda and qiong mentioned they can wear berms with their F1 tees.jealous.tsk. but all in all, still, its F1. let's see what happens tmr!
alright, so finally, interview is over.
shall wait patiently till oct to know if walt disney world and university of north carolina is waiting for me.and for us of course.
the whole thing was scheduled so early in the morning. perhaps i am not used to waking up in the wee hours of the morning just yet. feeling so groggy and sleepy of a sudden like now. 23:14.
looking forward to tmr, fun with bicycle rides with 5some? cept jessy isn't sure if she's on for it yet tho.
and and and, trying to play nice when you obviously know that your not? i think its really hard. too hard for me.
goodnight.
tmr's the disney international college programme interview.
done the cv, the so difficult to fill form, printed photos.
alright.
having the jitters now.
please don't let me screw up tmr.
woah woah woah.. okay, the china milk issue is creating such a hoohah now.
*shakes head* alright, so something that has been suppressed for 2 years since it was first exposed has finally erupted.
well, it is good that they are looking into this problem now. gosh, just think how much melamine we have consumed over the years! eeww.
fortunately, i am not even close to being a fan of china food products. BUT, now that it has implicated other countries like new zealand, it HAS become a problem.
Oh My, now that MnMs , Snickers and walls ice cream is affected! sobs. My MnMs.
nvm, it might be a good thing overall.not that my tummy or hips need those extra fats.haha.
okay here's a video from youtube again! its ayumi hamasaki forgetting her lyrics. but she is like damn cute in here. i m not a big fan of Ayu but i think some of her songs are really nice. and i do admire her personality and for her courage! she sure does sing better than many singers out there even when she is deaf in one ear now. salutes to ayu.
sigh. i had to miss the second last lesson of my korean class!
i called up nus ext this morning at like 8.45am requesting to sit in another class for the last 2 lessons which i will miss because of the F1 thing. but i have yet to receive a reply.
i will not have to miss the last lesson if i hadn't agree on the change of my shift.
i m so fed up with myself. there's been so many things recently and i keep forgetting what i have on each day. calender on my phone doesn't help! i m so terribly disorganized and i promise to do something bout it.
so today morning, mum and dad decided to drive me down to suntec and have brunch before i go for the F1 training. Saturday downtown jams are frustrating and i wasn't exactly feeling too well perhaps due to lack of sleep.
yeah, so mum decided to eat at the food republic cause apparently, both mum and dad wanted to have different stuff. and while eating.. clare prank called me. well issit a prank call? anw, yeah she happened to be sitting at this table near me and i didn't see her. how funny huh clare ong. haha. after eating, there's still time, so mum and i hurriedly went for quick shopping. surprisingly, G2000 has nice clothes this season, think they are trying to take on the korean style formal wear kind of clothes. mum settled for a knitted top.
and and and, brenda came to look for me during her break! gee. brenda's e best! muacks.
and FOX has nice stuff this season too! i managed to grab one jumper-like shorts hoodie and i didn't have any more time to shop, so i ran off and asked mum to pay for it.
at 12pm i went up to the convention rooms and they wanted us to collect the uniforms and badge. and guess what, they told us to return to the place at 2pm. so quickly, i called dad to ask if they are still around and mum is still at FOX. and so i got another 2 blouse. yay.
after our shopping it was dad's turn, so yup, accompanied him to get a pair of running shoes.
mum started craving for roti prata, so we had to go back to food republic again. and after her roti prata, she wanted to get bread fritters for grandma and aunt later for tea so i went with her to the stall.
suddenly, this girl tapped me and was trying to ask if i m going for the F1 thing. i was taken aback cause i have no idea who she is. and my mum assumed i know her and went "hey you don't even know your own friend?" and i was like " yeah! your right, i don't know her!" but anw, i went with her and realised that she is a friend of clare, from sat cya. sry, baohui! i couldn't recognise you!
ANW, today is really a "bumping into ppl" day. gosh, like after the briefing, this girl with an accented english came up to me and asked like if i was from crescent and she turns out to be from crescent as well! her name is tania, indo chinese, and we were from the same cohort. she thought i looked familiar and after chatting for a bit, i finally remember something about her! she has become so pretty now.how nice to meet old crescent mates around! and so we exchange numbers=DDD. okay and like what tania said, the briefing was really brief. it ended 2 hours earlier then the scheduled 6pm. disrupted my plan of meeting aunt at raffles city after work.
but still i decided to wait for aunt, so i wandered around the mall. and GUESS WHAT! i bumped into chenxi! got to know this really gorgeous girl during the tour to america. she is like a mix, dad's from south africa, mum's chinese.she was with her younger sis amy. how nice 2 sisters get to travel by themselves! chenxi was with her mum who is the principal of SA junior sch.
so yup, caught up a bit with each other. and she is like leaving tmr to london to major in law! how cool is that!
was bored window shopping so i went to MPH and bought myself a book to read while waiting. DOUBLE BODY by TESS GERRITSEN. man, i m a fan of her detective novels. its such a page turner! really, the plot, the details of the autopsy just keeps you going. but reading it at night gives me the shivers. LOL.
alright, its been a long day, goodnight.
i.m.super.duper.sad.and.mad.
*bangs my head hard on the cement wall*
hokay, today is nothing but cramps.
slept half the day away, slacked the other half.
i m so bugged by the guiltiness of not touching my piano today.
man, at this rate, i would not be able to rush for march's exam.
hello jaime, buck up! *slaps myself awake
anw, i m a total youtube whore recently.
i just watch videos and more videos which are linked to them.
alright, here's an american variety show i happened to come across when i was lazing in the hotel in US during march. The Moment Of Truth.i m so intrigued by it so i searched for it. oh my, i don't know why anyone would put themselves in such. is the money really worth it?!
2 of the many episode previews to share.
this man is a such a goddamn psycho whore.disgusted.
this is known to be the most controversial episode. well you decide your say!
its been a week since i passed my basic driving theory test but i have yet to collect my provisional license. i m just so lazy to train down to yiochukang. hope they dun have something like pls collect your license within 7 days or it will be revoked kind of thing or i can just vomit blood. well, not that i studied alot for it actually. lol.
slept over at grandma's yesterday after celebrating cyndi ahyi's birthday. there seems to be so many ppl born on sept isn't it! so glad that grandma's place has got internet connection now.yay.
and so, checked my results around noon today! well, i am pretty alright with them considering the amount of effort i put it. this time i had mostly Bs. bizlaw and pfp was total crap. the only apppeasing module was report writing and presention skills. i managed to score a dist! and for mice, damn, participation marks got the better of me. well, skipping classes seriously doesn't help at all. but oh wells.
anw, here's a couple more photos from mid autumn=)
i really like this open area at aunt's house cause its a wonderful place to have barbeque/buffet/steamboat etcetc when holding parties! zealousssss..
bbt came over in the early afternoon cause she wanted to watch incredible tales 3 on mio tv. haha so together, we watched around 7 episodes.
Its really really strenuous on my eyes and fingers. cause practically, the only way i can watch horror stuff is through the gaps in between my fingers. and yes, i have nv watched any single horror movie in cinema before cause that would be downright embarrassing AND awkward.
well, in the evening, family went to orchard hotel for dinner to celebrate fourth aunt's birthday. which we actually already did last sat during mid autumn celeb. =D
aunt and mom chit chatting away..
i took a photo for dad!
and dad took a photo for me(:
the buffet dinner in orchard cafe was alright. food=okay, ambience=soso.
so everything was average. its a pretty casual place. oh, but i saw this celeb chef, lol. so far, best buffet dinner is @ oriental hotel-melt world cafe for me.gee, but of course, price differs as well!
EXAMS RESULTS OUT DAY AFTER TMR!!! omg.
FUN!!!
sparkling sticks!!! the whistle when lighted was pretty scary but the sparks are pretty!
cornelius and i=D

nc jiejie, xin, me
Here's a series of candid shots of xin and me. she is so so adorable!

Preparation Time!!!
daddy immersed in work!
colourful paper lanterns waiting to be lighted=)
uncle with xin feeding dad with vita c
=D
lil hampton in orange trying his best to help out!
Hanging the lighted lanterns!!
spot the monkey! the land beside aunt's house was having construction of another new house so it was kinda unglam. but nc jiejie said that monkeys are a common sight at their house! AND ITS NOT 1 or 2, i counted OVER 10 of them.its too late when i took camera.=( guessed they got attracted by the smell of the steamboat.haha

couple of lanterns by the pool. well its a good thing we don't have to worry when the lanterns burn. there's always the pool water! ahah.
mummy prefers battery operated lanterns-cause she doesn't have to light them.-.-
its blurred!!! part of the lanterns in the dark
sigh, having problems transferring the photos from dad's phone to my com.
i should have used my camera instead!
yesterday's korean class was a lil hard. man its tougher and very soon i say, its gonna exceed what my puny brain can absorb! and i guess i should sleep earlier on friday night surprised that i can actually doze off while everyone's reading aloud and i think i blabbered some nonsense in the dreamy state.
oh yeah, i actually saw Song Hye Gyo in person on thursday when i went out with fangy. we were baffled by the crowd at wisma isetan and out of curiosity, we asked the people what they were waiting for. "song hye gyo is coming, don't you know?" was what we got. lol. She's so petite!
truthfully, this is the first time me and fangy waited for such stuff and it wasn't exactly a pleasant experience, cept the fact that we got to see Song Hye Gyo. the waiting and pushing was terrible.
anw, i m currently into this internationally famous korean pianist, YIRUMA. His songs just great. It is kind of like healing music. My favourite piece so far is RIVER FLOWS IN YOU also known as edward's lullaby(twilight)!
here's one video from youtube, enjoy!!
Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
since like 2 weeks ago we have started feasting on mooncakes and i have lost count how much i have eaten. i m not a huge mooncake fan but i still eat them tho.of course, nice ones that is. LOL.
Here's the list of mooncakes i have eaten this fest:
*harbour city -walnut
*orchard hotel-hua ting treasure chest (assorted snowskin with tea)
*intercontinental hotel-macadamia
*raffles hotel-champagne truffle
*goodwood park hotel-traditional and durian
*tung-lok-tradition
the highlighted ones are my recommendations! (shangri-la is an all time fav as well!)
anw, speaking of raffles hotel mooncake, i trained all the way down to city hall alone on friday to get 2 boxes of the champagne truffle during the evening cause tuitee canceled lessons. advise: do not go during after work hours, there would be a queue.
PARTY @ Aunt's place!
well, its annual practice for dad's side to celebrate mid autumn fest since i can't remember when. we would have a big lantern lighting project led by mighty dad.haha. its quite sad that we are losing people to help out! since most have grown up and are no longer interested by such stuff.lol.
compared to the previous year's 56 lanterns, this year's 97 was an great improvement but its still nothing compared to the record of around 180! and its a rule that we can only count those that was burning away!
its fun afterall! i will upload photos soon! after mum's side gathering tmr=D
okay so i m back to blogging now. let's see how long i can last this time.
what's different this time is that i m going to open it up to all. and i can share more stuff here then=)
holidays have been good so far.
anw, out with huifangy on thursday to watch Boys over Flowers which is the sequel of hana yori dango.
for those who wanna watch, here's the official web and showtimes!
http://www.hanadan-final.jp/index.html
http://sg.movies.yahoo.com/Boys+Over+Flowers:+Final/movie/14756/
i love how they exaggerate the extravagance and fantasy-like storyline.
i mean, what's life without dreams. hah. even tho its impractical.
